Shavei Hevron  Torah, Emunah, Leadership

“Shavei Hevron” is a network of Religious Zionist Institutions, which sprung from Yeshiva Shavei Hevron.  The Yeshiva is situated in Hevron, the City of Our Forefathers, the very place where the roots of the Jewish People were planted and Jewish History began.

In the year 1982, Rav Moshe Bleicher, shlit”a, founded Yeshiva Shavei Hevron with the vision of establishing future generations of Torah scholars, who would be devoted to the State of Israel and the Jewish People. The combination of profound Torah Learning and the atmosphere of Hevron and Mearat HaMachpela, fosters the development of the qualities of responsibility and self-sacrifice for the sake of Clal Yisrael among the Yeshiva students.

At “Shavei Hevron”, Torah is learned in order to be fulfilled and expressed in one’s life endeavors.  “Shavei Hevron” emphasizes the importance of army service and views the protection of Our Nation in its Land, after 2000 years of dispersion, as a mitzvah and a great privilege.

The Yeshiva has produced thousands of graduates who are influential in shaping Israeli society.  Many are active Torah scholars, while others have worthy pursuits in the business and professional realms.  Many graduates are leading figures in the army and in all aspects of civilian life including education, commerce and leadership.

The Yeshiva’s alumni infuse the special spirit of Hevron into Israeli society and Jewish communities throughout the world.
