Yeshiva Shavei Hevron is situated in the heart of the City of Our Forefathers.

Everything began here, close to Mearat HaMachpela, and continues and will continue from here in the future. 

After having been expelled from Hevron in 1929, we returned to it after the Six-Day War.  We were privileged to raise the Voice of Torah that had been silenced.

Hundreds of young men learn at Yeshiva Shavei Hevron after having completed High School.  These energetic and idealist youths choose to immerse themselves in the world of Torah and learn diligently night and day.

The Voice of Torah resounds from the Beit Midrash in Hevron and the heart is filled with joy and thanks.

We have the privilege of learning Torah in the very place where everything happened.  We walk the same paths that our Forefathers and Mothers walked and live in the place where they chose to build their homes and Beit Yisrael.

We believe the present is significant when it drinks from the wells of the past.  In this way it can grow and continue on in the future.

Our students go into the army and serve with great self-sacrifice.  They carry the special spirit of Torah from the City of Our Forefathers in their hearts throughout their lives and bring blessing wherever they go.

We believe in our privilege and obligation to walk with Hashem.  We take responsibility and seek to find the ways in which we can bring blessing to Am Yisrael.

The responsibility we carry on our shoulders is immense and we are prepared to continue to build the City of Our Forefathers and to increase the numbers of students and Torah Learning in Hevron.
