Location:  Kiryat Arba

Year of Establishment:  2010

The Torah Programs are run by families who are connected to Yeshiva Shavei Hevron.  Some of them are married students still learning at the Yeshiva, and others, are graduates. They maintain educational and social activities for the benefit of the Kiryat Arba-Hevron community and aim to serve the needs of all age groups.

There are Torah study groups for girls and boys of elementary school age that meet by age-group once a week.  There are after-school childcare programs that are operated in cooperation with the Kiryat Arba-Hevron Municipality, where children from kindergarten through the eighth grade can come for activities, as well as help with homework. Activities for elementary school children are also held at the secular schools in order to enrich the students and acquaint them with Jewish ethical values, Zionism and the spirit of Torah.

Similarly, there are programs for adolescent aged children that provide them with help with their studies, as well as adoptive families that provide them with emotional support.

An evening Kollel for adults is held in one of the synagogues in Kiryat Arba.

Special activities and programs are aimed to help the members of the Bnei Menashe (from India) and Peruvian immigrants become adjusted to life within Israel and the community.
